SIS 900 driver won't work on windows 7

    Hello
I installed win 7 64 bit and my computer can not recognize the network adapter driver so I can not connect to the internet.
I tried downloading the sis 900 driver from the sis website and to install it in windows 7 but it seems that win 7 does not recognize the inf file and when I browse for it the system does not find it.
Any help in this would be greatly appreciated

Eh it's really old, and i think stopped receiving support a while back. Well Right now as i type i am downloading a small basket of the sis 900 drivers. I will upload it then we can determine which one is yours.

This seems to work the best
    1.) Boot up your PC
2.) At W7 boot up press F8 then go to select Safe mode with Netowrk support
    3.) Go to Device manager
4.) Select delete your Network adapter
5.) Refresh then re-install your Network adapter
6.) Select manual install point to your either PC or MB maker's original network driver
7.) After installation your are done! Re-Boot to W7 again then fly.....

Yes, I know and thus my inquiry.
After having installed Win 7, it did not recognize my current driver
I tried downloading a driver from the SIS web site but it did not help as the Win 7 could not even recognize the new driver and thus could not install it (I d/l the XP driver)

I am currently back in Xp Pro as could not get online with Win 7 32 due to it not being able to recognize the SIS driver.
If I re-install win 7, it would not have a driver for the Ethernet and I wouldn't be able to get online and get that driver again.
I can get it on my laptop and transfer it through a zip drive but I did that last week and it didn't work

Gah this is a pain:/ when they created win7 they should have taken their driver database and carried ALL of it over along with the new Plug and play stuff.
Device manager and right click the ethernet>Properties>Details>Change the dropdown to hardware ids. Copy and paste it in your next post.
