yes i did try them and the laptop tells me that i already have a newer version of the drivers the fabrication of my pc as i saw on sony website is at 2010 and those that you gave me are for 2009 so i have the versions i think the only prb i have is that i downloaded the drivers for another model of vaio laptops simply because i haven't found mine

how to instal a dll file?

didn't work with me seems like i'll throw the damn laptop against the wall

you want to know how to install a .dll ? If so

Press start search CMD when it opens up type "regsvr32 dll_name."

then press enter should confirm if not close.

Ignore the fact your on g4-bit it should work fine.

Upgrading from original OS especially if your laptops drivers were discontinued
