I installed fresh window in laptop, but i dont know the model of laptop, there are no any sticker back of laptop... help me any body many many thanxx

Hi,

Following are the steps to find your model number using HP utilities:

1. In Windows, press the fn + esc keys on the notebook’s keyboard to open the “HP System Information window”.

2. A Support Information window appears showing a product name and a product number. The product name shown might represent many types of models and is often not suitable for getting proper support for your computer. Instead, use the product number when working with HP Support. The product number contains a “#” character and is another form of model number that best represents your computer’s configuration. For reference see the image below:

3. If this window does not open, Click “Start”, type “HP” in the search field, and select “HP Support Assistant” from the search results list. Find the product number displayed on the bottom edge of the window.

If your computer does not boot to Windows, then you can locate the model and product number inside the “battery compartment” or “under a cover on the back of the notebook”. For reference see the image below:

Perhaps more importantly you say there are no stickers on the back of the laptop so have you got your Windows 7 licence key? how long have you owned the laptop and did you buy it from new?
