I've got an old Canon S520 printer and i am not able to install any driver on my Windows 7 64bit.
I searched the inet for a solution, but can't find one.
And sorry, if my English isnt't that good.

Thanking you in advance.

Windows 7 64bit

So, i finally got the time to answer.

Thanks for your help but i already try to use the vista drivers and it doesn't work.
Perhaps i make something wrong. I execute the file and it says installation finished but the printer is still uninstalled.

I got my canoscan lide 35 to work by using drivers of lide 60 and install them by manually chosing the drivers in the windows list. Perhaps there is such a solution for the printer too.

Windows 7 64bit

Thanks, but as you can see above i've got Windows 7 64bit and therefore the compatibility mode is grayed out.

But i'm happy to announce that i solve the problem just a minute ago.
I tryed some drivers from the Microsoft Update Catalog.
To find it, search for "canon s520" and the last listed driver should be the right. To be sure, click on it and control if the architecture is AMD64.

For the lazy ones, the one that is working for me can you find below. ^^

Hope this helps some other too.
