I was wondering if anyone knew a way to "recover" a BIOS after it has been flashed with the wrong .ROM file. My original post is Here from the seven forums website. Thank you for the help in advance.

I am looking for a backup of a .ROM file for my BIOS. I have a FOXCONN BENGAL RS780 M-ATX MOTHERBOARD, SOCKET AM2+, HT3/HT1 SYSTEM BUS with the manufacture number of MB.G0409.005 designed for the Gateway DX4300-15e. If you could send me a link or a direct link download. Thank you very much. For more information, please see my other post here on the Seven Forums website. Thank you very much for the help in advance and thank you for taking the time to read this.

I have made several posts in other parts of this forum asking people for help from different aspects of the same problem, so to the moderators, I am very sorry and you have my most sincerest and deepest apology if I have broken the forum rules. I didn't think this would be a problem, because I am trying to find different solutions to fix the same problem by attempting various strategies.

I still cannot figure out why you would flash your BIOS 6 or 7 times "to try different settings?"

This is asking for trouble.

I would try to find the old BIOS version and flash it back, once.

Did you ever reset the BIOS to default, which you seemed to question even after reflashing BIOS 6-7 times.
