Freshly installed win 7 Missing drivers. (not sure if correct tab)

    Hello Sevenforums

Just got my system ack up and running, and now i have run into a bit of an issue, preventing me from validating my windows and doing most things.

I made a total restart, and have only stock windows 7 HoPr installed. When i tried to install a missing screen driver, i noticed that i was unable to go to the internet. I apparently have missing Ethernet and network controller drivers. Obviously, one would normally hit the update driver button, but since i do not have any means of getting the computer connected to the internet. i cannot.

So put it simple: I need to know how and where to download the missing drivers. And if there are any specific procedures, i will need some kind of tutoring, as i am kinda new to most of these things.

Additional info: It is a Desktop pc. The green flashing light where the cable goes is not flashy, at all. its solid green.

Go to the Support Downloads webpage for your model to download the ethernet or LAN driver to stick or CD, install as Admin on the PC.

Then go directly to Windows Updates to do all of your Important and Optional Updates which should deliver any newer drivers.

If any drivers are missing after all Updates are done, import them also from the Support Downloads webpage for the PC or Device model.

All of this is in Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7.

There are no such drivers on the manufacturers website.
I have searched for a while now and all i've been able to find was an automated installer for the updates, which sadly requires internet connection.

I need you to run SIW and get the full and correct info on your computer and motherboard.

Link to SIW in my signature.
    After you get that info:
PUT THAT INFO INTO YOUR SYSTEM SPECS!

Packard Bell does not list a iXtreme 6k
All of that south/north stuff is unimportant.
    Need precise model designation.

Right click on my computer, Manage, Device Manager.
Right click on the "Network adapter" device", Properties, Details.
Change "Device description" to Hardware Ids.
Post the data. It should look like the following.

The driver is here: Support Download

To get more exact results for download put in your Serial Number. Otherwise use your full model name and number.

    greg,
That's part of the problem. He has a model listed that PB doesn't list.
I had already gone to that site so that I could point him to relevant info.

I don't think the model is completely listed in his specs. There should be an extension.

If not he should search by Serial Number on the Support Download page, or use the automatic detection application they also provide on that page.

If not provide the info Sardonicus requested so we can trace the Hardware Identification.
