SLB: Motorola RAZR V3 - Vista USB Drivers - & Windows XP 64-bit Install

The installation says It does not recognize my system's operating system, which makes me believe that I'll have to use XP or Vista to charge my cellphone.

Does anyone know a way around this, such as maybe running Vista as an emulation to use the correct drivers?

Only other way I can think of doing this would be to fix my first mistake by repartioning the hard drive so I can dual boot Win 7 and Vista (I'm a little impulsive...).

I had no proble witgh windows XP and I used 4.0 for starters!.. I'm just waqnting to use MPT with Win 7 32bit

As of 6-23-2011, the "Motorola USB Drivers (for Windows)", called, "MotoHelper_2.0.49_Driver_5.0.0", work great:

There's also a phone charging program at the bottom of the page. I haven't needed/tested it. If you do install the USB driver, you ARE supposed to install it AFTER Motorola Phone Tools (the Driver above.) Last on that, I think, IIRC, that the "PC Driver 2" was the right one, for my regular old Razer. Forget how I figured out which one to use, or even if I did. GL! (I don't think it's needed, I think the first Driver charges the phone anyway.)

    Easy solution

This is the Motorola Device Manager from Motorola's website. Anyone can download it and it installs correctly on win7 (*.exe). After installation, my computer detected my razor and started charging it.
