Accidentally uninstalled ALL Codecs from Win7

Hello Forum,

I was cleaning up my system because my current installation is at least one year old, and I wanted to clean up my codecs, because those often gave me trouble, especially those popular codec packs.

So I uninstalled a few but suddenly I had not a single codec left.
I thought that was some glitch so I checked if I can play any audio/video files, but only WAV and non-compressed AVI files worked.

I am trying to solve this problem for 3 hours now and apparently it is impossible to reinstall WMP 12, which would possibly reinstall it's standard codecs.

Is there any way to reinstall the codecs that are installed when you install your OS?
Just the standard codecs, no K-Lite or anything similiar, because that only makes it worse.
