Orange screen after resolution alterations and logins w/ video

    Hello!

I know this issue has been posted on this forum a couple times in the past because I've been searching for solutions on this problem excessively for quite a while. However, none of the threads I have read through has worked for me.

I don't know if this is because the problem is hard to understand or grasp without having the direct access to the device or it's just down right impossible to do anything about it.
I am awful at describing things so I decided to videotape it instead and post the video for you all here, along with a list of things I've tried that haven't worked.

    Orange tint - YouTube

It might be hard to see, but the tint doesn't come instantly, it takes about a second for it to appear.

    • I have an Asus G74Sx laptop connected via HDMI to a Samsung SyncMaster SA700 120Hz monitor. My graphics card is an Nvidia GeForce GTX 560M, I've never overclocked or messed with it in any way.
    • The issue still persists even when the laptop is not connected to an external monitor.
    • Calibrating the monitor temporarily works sometimes, but after e.g. running a full-screen application or rebooting it's back to normal.
    • The temporary fix I am usually using is the one showed in the video, I just adjust something in the Nvidia control panel, I don't even have to save the changes.
    • I've had this problem for almost six months, so I would think it's too late for a system restore.
    • Under color management I have checked "use my settings" for both monitors. (I am running a Norwegian version of Windows, so it's most likely worded differently).
    • It was like this even before patched and I installed my custom visual style.
    • All settings under the advanced tab in color management are set to system default.
    • I have the very latest drivers for my graphics card, the others I am unsure of, but if there are some that might affect it just tell me and I'll go grab them.
    • Here is a screen shot of programs that launch when Windows boots.

I tried to make the list more comprehensible by making what I thought is most important bold. It might have made it look more messy, sorry about that. I might update the list should I remember something.

I was unsure as to which genre I should post this under, so if it's wrong I apologize. I assume administrators have the power to move it should it be needed anyways. :)

All assistance is very much appreciated! If you can remember a post where they managed to solve it in the end, please link me to it and I will see if the same will solve it for me.
If there's anything more you need to know about my system or problem just ask and I'll see if I can remember. :)

    Figured it out.

My laptop has an option (Fn + C) that changes the screen settings, I had it set to warm or something so that it became a more orange-ish tint.

Just changed it back to Normal mode and everything is fine dandy!
