    Trouble after changing harddrive

Hello! I have a problem after I changed my harddrive AND installed windows 7 home premium on my laptop. I can not get access to the internet, it only says "Install a driver for your network adapter. Windows did not detect a properly installed network adapter." What?? I cant find any network devices in device manager either. What do I do? I have a Acer Aspire V3-571 intel core i3-2310M. Internet was no problem before I had to buy a new harddrive and install Windows 7

When you reinstall, you must also install some drivers. Windows 7 will install some drivers but not all. Your Laptop vendor's download for your specific model should get you whatever you need.

As I noted Win 7 will install some drivers but in general an install is (1) Install Windows (2) Install motherboard chipset drivers (3) Install Device drivers such as Video, PC Vendor sound drivers, Ethernet and/or Wi-Fi, etc.

    You can find drivers here:
Acer Support: Downloads & Support Documents - Notebook / Aspire / Aspire V3-571
do you happen to know what wifi card or LAN NIC you have?

Sorry for the double post, but if you do not know what hardware you have for wifi you can follow the instructions here to identify the hardware:
Device Manager - Finding Unknown Devices
If you can post the hardware IDs for the unknown hardware then we can find the correct drivers for the network card.

Thank you! When I go into Other devices I find these: base system device, ethernet controller, network controller etc. In the ethernet the hardware Ids are: PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_16B5&SUBSYS_06471025&REV_10. Is that helpful info?

That was the LAN network card.
    download the driver here:

Can you please list the network controller Hardware ID under "Other devices"? That is the WiFi.

I figured it out now, and now have internet!. Thank you for all your help! BUT, now I have another problem. I cant seem to get the HDMI to work anymore, it only says "no signal" on my LED TV. Do I need a driver for that to work as well? I cant seem to find any HDMI-driver on the website. Here is the link to the Acer-site: Download. As mentioned before, I have a Acer Asus V3-571
