Can you save your drivers before a reformat

Hi people, I was hoping for maybe some advice or software that can help.

For work, I reformat at lot of laptops, and acquiring the drivers after a format can be a slight pain.

Currently I use SlimDrivers to source them, and so far, it has seemed to work very well, but I am just worried that sometimes it may not install the correct drivers, although so far, device manager has always showed that all drivers have been installed fine.

I was just wondering if any of you have experienced any good software that you would recommend to either rip the drivers off before a format, or a good tool that can find them afterwards. Maybe SlimDrivers is a good piece of kit, so any opinions would be great

    Thank you :)

it looks like the free lite version is limited,
there are others around this one may be better,

Download Double Driver 4.1.0 Free - View which drivers are installed in your system and you can backup the drivers you choose, save and print the drivers list - Softpedia

however i have no knowledge of their abilities as i havent used them,
perhaps someone else on the forum can add some info from experience.

Big +1 for Double Driver. That saved me a lot of grief when I did a clean-reinstall of a Win7 laptop. That had problems initially finding all the right drivers. But by inserting a USB stick with the driver backups from Double Driver, I was able to simply point the system at the USB stick and reinstall all the missing drivers. What could have taken hours only took a few minutes.
