When you switched to Xfinity, you needed to have someone set up Internet access for you When they were Comcast, they needed to record the Mac address of the adapter device that you would use to connect to them. They denied this (of course), but I was able to verify it by switching PCs and confirming that with the second PC, there was no access. You will encounter the same problems regardless of what OS you use -- as it is on THEIR end, not yours.
