Windows 7: HP LaserJet 1005 serises printer windows 7 64-bit driver help

Hi there!! Not new to the forum, had an account here, but my acc might have been deleted due to inactivity, not sure, but no problem...

So, here's the deal:

Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
PC configuration not needed, since there is a printer driver problem...
I looked up on HP support site, which I btw hate, and there is a driver for xp 32-bit, but also saying this printer will not be supported in windows 7. Tried over device manager, over add a printer, not working, it just won't work...

Is there anyway to use some printer driver to install this one or are there drivers for xp 64-bit which, I believe will work on win 7 64 bit... I haven't been able to get my hands on two PC's which have xp and win 7 32 bit to try that out... Anyone had any luck with this one???



P.S. This is a thread about 1005 printer series, not p1005 printer.
