First off, I am pretty leery of just downloading a driver from a site where I don't recognize the URL - care to explain where it came from and why this is not on the official NetGear site if is it a WHQL'd driver?

Not trying to bust your chops, but you have to realize that there has been a sizable demand in the community for this exact driver, and I have to be sure that this is not only legit but that the *site* that I am DL'ing it from is legit, i.e. does not have any (possibly) malicious banner advertising that will try to perform drive by malware installations, etc.

I'd rather not have a barrage of users come back to complain that the link *we* put up all of a sudden has been hijacked and / or cause them to get infected, yanno?

I just checked the driver details and it is a "Realtek" driver. I have had no problems with it. Version 6.1282.0207.2007 This is not digitally signed. I have now updated the driver and it is a Netgear driver whql signed.

OK, so your link is a RealTek driver that is not signed, or you now have the driver from your link that is signed?

Your last post confused me....

Sorry, the driver I was using was not signed. The new one is a Netgear (whql) and its working. Version 6.1308.1226.2007
The link to the site: Search for device information
I have deleted the other links to the previous driver.
