wireless network on wins 7

Hello,

I've got problems connecting to my wireless network at home.
yesterday I couldn't access to my network, it was detected but for some reason not accessible (yellow exclamation point on signal strength). I rebooted my laptop but was the same. I tried disabling/enabling the wireless adapter, same result
Then I uninstalled the wireless net adapter from the device manager...and then updated the driver software to get it back... but still I cannot access the network
did I screw it up?!
