Can't re-install Windows 7 Ultimate on a formatted WD Scorpio Blue

On the downloads page for acer laptop 5250, I do not see a HDD related driver to download. I only see these.

I have no HHD/disc/partition found on this laptop. I checked the BIOS info and no HDD is stated. Where can I get the driver download for the install of Windows 7?

Are you saying that the bios isnt even detecting the hard drive? If so, you probably need to open the system up to check to make sure all the cables, etc are connected properly and that the drive is getting power to it. Also; if needed; you may have to open the system up and replace the hard drive cable going from the drive to the board.

EDIT: as far as windows goes in detecting the drive; if everything is connected properly and the drive is getting power to it and there are no other issues windows should be able to detect the drive and install the right driver automatically.
