Synaptic Issue for Win 7 Ultimate

I just updated my laptop (Acer Aspire 4920) OS to Windows 7 Ultimate (32 bit) however now the touchpad scroll is not working anymore. What's the fix for this? I tried to download the new driver of Synaptic still doesn't work.

    Welcome to the Seven Forums

Use this link to find your laptop and download the drivers from their I just went through the process and seen there is a driver there for the touchpad Download

Something else to look at would be looking in your Mouse Properties under the Wheel tab do you have any settings set up their?

Also while you are in the Mouse Properties under the Device Settings tab click on the Setting button then click on the + sign then click on the One Finger Scrolling and looked to see if you have scrolling enabled.

Thanks Jerry. I appreciate your response to my question.

After posting my queries here I did a lot searching again online and finally found the fix. Here's the link:
