The microsoft virtual miniport adapter is not required for internet access. it can be disabled.

If you have no internet access please post an ipconfig /all for us to review.

Please download xirrus for wireless connectivity only below:

"ipconfig /all" is accessed through a command line
START > in the search bar type "cmd" > then type "ipconfig /all" (without the quotes)

Using Windows 7, my wireless works great in the vicinity of the router, but slows down and will not load some sites when 30+ feet away from the router. The signal strength is excellent. Any ideas?
