Windows 7: SM Bus Controller and USB controller

Hi

Acer Aspire One 725-0802
I upgrade my notebook from win 7 premium to win 7 Ultimate x86 (32bits)

And need help to get this two divers:

SM Bus Controller and USB controller

The USB driver I think is for USB 3.0

Any clue?

Hello Primillo and welcome - tried Device manager yet?

You can check the status of the drivers in there or just download from the Acer site.

Now I have just looked out here and the global sites and cannot find that model listed so it is 725-0802? or is that the serial number??

Thx for the replay.

The Acer Support web site is Acer Support: Downloads & Support Documents
And AO725 I think is Aspire One 725-0802
I select the correct windows version and download the usb drivers but doesn't work nothing happens.

And what is SM Bus Controller?

I am about to install the correct VGA_AMD driver, I tell you how goes after restart. (when finish the download)

The issue with drivers SM Bus and USB is solved with the download VGA Driver

Just select the correct OS

Good stuff mate well done I guessed it was a driver issue and after an install always good to check out the latest drivers, and in the Device manager if you are having problems.

Oh and if you want better performance check out

Optimize Windows 7[2]=Performance Maintenance

some of these tweaks - top stuff and you will notice a fair bit of speed increase.
