| | "The drivers for this device are not installed (Code 28)" I finished with a fresh install of Windows 7 Ultimate x64 in a new Sony Vaio S laptop. I installed all of the Sony Drivers and also performed Windows Update. A few drivers provided by Sony were not compatible with 7 (they are listed for Win 8), but I was able to download them from the device manufacturer. I checked Device Manager and I'm unable to install drivers for Universal Serial Bus Controller (see screenshot below). I tried searching for the driver in the laptop and online without success. | | I can't get rid of this device manager issue. However, every single device in the laptop seems to be working fine. It might be some fake error message. |
