Thanks, but I think I'll forget the whole thing. I can't even view the release notes without first signing up with esupport.com for $30. And if the update doesn't support AHCI, I don't want it anyway.

I tried it last night. The AHCI and USB 2.0 drivers installed, but then I got an error message saying that the Catalyst Control panel could not be installed; click OK to view the log report. Not wanting to take any chances with removal, reinstallation, repair, etc., I just installed my most recent (Sept. 11) Macrium Reflect Image and decided to call it a day.
When I try and download the latest drivers I am getting this error message...any one know why?

Is this chipset driver compatible with AMD APU's?
It only mentions 700 series or newer chipsets. My A85X chipset is newer according to wiki, but again its an APU.
