After checking HP's link I provided it seems that there are no windows 7 drivers. You could try using one of the other drivers and install using compatibility mode.

When installing the device does windows 7 see the device at all. It may use some generic driver to allow you to use the device.

Other than that, you would need to contact HP directly and see what they say.

Izabel, welcome to the windows 7 forum.

Something tells me that your 20Gig tape drive is an ancient tape drive and won't have any drivers available for xp or greater. I don't believe they even make hard disks of 20gigs and lower thesedays. Is there some special reason that you want to hook up a 20gig tape drive? I am guessing that you have some old data or programs on tapes that you need to get to.????
You might want to install a copy of windows NT on an old machine and then the drivers will work and you can retrieve your data/programs.
Other than that, it is probably time for an appropriate funeral :)
