I am trying to replace the hiv file for dps however it shows access denied
is it supposed to be replaced to current control set or control set 001

Please run: sfc/scannow again. No errors anymore?
For the windows firewall service please try the fix it tool below you will have to be logged on as an administrator to run the tool and restart the computer after running the fix.

Also the Windows event log service is that running if it is not please try and start it and if it gives an error please post error?
