What wifi/ethernet card is in your machine? Also, what router are you using?

I don't know which ethernet card I have, because there are no drivers installed and there's no way to know which card I have... It's integrated on mainboard.

    Router is ASUS.

This post my help with the LAN - Think im missing ethernet driver?, I don't think he used compatibility mode though as he ask what it is after he has the LAN working but if it doesn't install normally then try compatibility mode.

The zip file there appears to be the same thats on the SIS website (http://w3.sis.com/download/). Download from either I would say, if from SIS choose XP - Network - SIS900.

If you can get that working then it might be easier to get any other drivers. If you keep reading the thread they were also having trouble with sound drivers that was solved by Windows Update although not the same sound card as yours.

The drivers from w3.sis.com work, so I have now internet connection! Thank you very much, Duzzy!!!
The problem with sound still persist, but I think it's problem with sound card, the same problem was when I had XP. Neither "Driver Easy" finds any device. So I will buy another sound card.
