hust download that cab file extract it with winrar, the update the driver in the device manager manually.

Thanks for this download just a humble question, where did you get this coz INTEL has discontinued the development of the Windows 7 version of many Desktop Boards (Including mine ).

Also is this a workaround of the Windows Vista driver or a genuine release for Windows 7.

Been hoping to updgrade to Windows 7 only if my Basic Hardwares (Audio/Video) are supported.

This are audio drivers theu are not discontinued they are in my HP dv5 1199ew, or did you mean something else?

Yes INTEL has discontinued the development of many Legacy Desktop Boards (Mine is 946GZIS) and the Sigmatel/IDT Audio device can't be updated on Windows 7 as there is no driver..

For other SigmaTel/IDT Audio Devices on diff. motherboards there are plently drivers uploaded on the INTEL website.
