Missing X3DAudio1_6.dll Hello all.
I`ve purchased a game that was published few years ago last week.
The installation was successful, but i cant seem to run the game.
It seems that My computer (Windows7 Premium 64 bit) is missing some files.
When I try to start the game, error message appears telling me that I am missing X3DAudio1_6.dll
I`ve noticed this is the file that has something to do this DirectX11.
The game supports DirectX9, and my computer has DirectX11, which should have alternative files to DirectX9 too.
However, the game doesn't start.
I tried installing the newest DirectX file. I saw the file "X3DAudio1_6.dll" and other files being installed to my computer.
However, when the installation finishes, it says "Preparation to use these download is ready"
Preparation ? I rebooted my computer but still didnt work. So what do i need to do to actually start using these files. Sorry about my bad english
I am very very confused. Please help me. | My System Specs |

thx for ur reply I`ve tried this before.
It worked, but then i had some other file missing.
And i couldnt download all the files manually since there are quite lot of them.
Actually, the error messege seems to say that x3Daudio file cannot be ran on this windows.
this is the error i get
C:\\Windows\system32\X3DAudio1_6.dll is either not designet to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support.
I also tried running it on Windows XP mode but still...
I really have no idea what i should do to solve it | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 Premium 64bit |

I really have no idea what i should do to solve it Looked into what my system is running, and it indicates XAudio2_7.dll. Might try see if you can find that fill on the internet and see if it will work. All the required installation files, including Dx files come on the disk or in download files. There will be a folder with 2 needed bits, Vcredist (MS visual studio files) and the version of Direct x 9 for the game. Both need to be installed, in case there is a known problem with the game, tell what it is or go to their website for any updates or fixes. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number DIY OS Windows 7 home premium x64 CPU AMD FX-4100 AM3+ 3.6GHz 12MB Black Edition Motherboard Asus M5A97 Pro Memory Crsair vengeance 12Gb DDR3 1600MHz CL9 Graphics Card Asus GTX 560 1GB Sound Card Realtek onboard Monitor(s) Displays Hanns G 1680x1050 native PSU OCZ StealthXstream II 500W Hard Drives OCZ 128Gb Petrol ssd
