Where to get update on AtherosR9285 for Asus

Please help to update my Atheros R9285 driver for my Asus, virgin media said this is why i have lost my wireless completely and that they are not allowed to help with them.I have tried to install them but it takes me to different sites and asks me to register and pay for this.

Please help,i need wireless

i've used this site several times, click the icon on the version i have an arrow pointing to and in firefox the save window appears.

i did saved ,and now what? i am running it but nothing changes ,sorry if i could be as good at this as i am with colors and brushes..
when i am running it is asking where to extract it and then i get lots of things in downloads, do i need set up? or which one???

Hi eremuska, If you tell us the model of your Asus laptop we will find the correct driver for you from Asus ,this will be easier for you to install

what to do is create a new folder call it atheros driver, extract to there and then in that folder click the setup file, it will install in seconds and work perfectly.

chances are the asus atheros driver for your laptop will not be updated, as is the one for my lenovo laptop, on the lenovo site the atheros driver there hasn't been updated since 2009.for my model!
