is there a solution to this? please help me..

Well........... you could go to the Epson website here : http://http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/...pportIndex.jsp and find which driver you need/want and install by hand.

I just went and looked at the site a little closer.... couldn't find your model number listed...lol.. went from CX4200 to CX 4400. Maybe you should get in touch with Epson.

Check the manual for your Epson printer. I've had several of them and they all include instructions for pressing certain key combinations on the printer so the print head will move and stop at a point where you can see which ink cartidge needs to be replaced. On my old R220, you held down the "ink led" button to do that -- but it varies by each model printer.

The CX4300 is listed, but apparently for Europe only. Here is the latest driver: Epson Stylus CX4300 : Driver 6.56

Uninstall the printer and drivers, disconnect the printer, restart the PC and do a new install. Run the install program and ONLY when the install program tells you, then connect the printer.

I use Epson printers, but I have newer All in One's that will also print on CD/DVD's.

Me, too. My R220 finally broke down and replaced it with an Artisan 730 -- easily one of the best printers I've ever owned!
