Intel RST version?
Not sure about this. I have Windows 7 64-bit systems and they all have SSD's, no RAID. So I was updating a firmware on one and then got to reading. Well, I was reading on the installation of Intel RST and most of the time I read "make sure if you have a 64-bit system to install the 64-bit drivers".
I usually install the Intel RST program which does not state 32-bit or 64-bit version, I am just assuming it will do the right thing.
So got to looking at my driver in the Device Manager and there it says that the drivers are located in the system32/driver folder.
Does that mean my system is using the 32-bit drivers?
Is it that important to use the 64-bit drivers? If so, should I then download the "floppy" version, extract to a folder and then manually update the driver?
Just wanting to make sure I got the set up correct.
