    Windows 7 mouse problem

Hello, I have a problem and I need your help.
A couple days ago my mouse started to turn off.
I thought it was the USB and mouse drivers so I updated them but it was no good.
So I deleted the drivers and reinstalled them but that was no good.
I checked in the device mannager and there was nothing about the mouse.
    BTW I'm using a leptop.

What can I do now to make it work?

    Thanks, Michael.

What brand of mouse? Also, is it wired or wireless? If wireless, did you replace the battery? Did you try a different mouse? We should also have your systems spec's to better help you out.

The mouse is wired, and what's that system spec?
