    Hi Deception35,

You may refer to the following 'web article' to locate the system 'Service Tag': What is a Service Tag and How Do I Locate It?
If the 'Service Tag' does not retrieve the details, please share the exact system make and model. Will help you with the relevant drivers.

Do reply with the information; wold be glad to assist.

Well I don't have the sticker on my computer and the service tag detected wont work like I said in my post. I'm also not around my computer but when I set this account up I put my computer info on my profile so u should be able to see it on my profile somewhere. Thanks

    Hi Deception35,

Please check if you are able to log-into your account: Dell.com - Login
As you added this computer in the 'account', you should be able to find that information.

If you still face difficulty, please share the system's 'Service Tag or Express Service Code' with me through a 'private message'. Assuming that the 'Service Tag' doesn't work at my end also, you may share other details like 'Dell Order Number' or 'Customer Number'. Let me check if I can pull up the system information and details of drivers required.

Do reply with the findings; would be glad to assist.

    Hi Deception35

May I get your Service Tag number ?

Can I get an image of the device with the " " icon on it ? Right click on the icon choose Properties . Once the Properties window opens up click on the Details tab . Inside the Details tab click on the down arrow under property and choose Hardware Ids . That is what I need a print screen of and upload it here.

    Hi Deception35,

I agree with what 'VistaKing' stated. You may open 'Device Manager' to see if any device is listed with a 'exclamation/question mark'. Hardware ID of that device Hardware Identification may help us identify the 'device driver' required. (If needed, at all)

Would also like to know details of the issue(s) that you are facing. Are you facing any performance issues? Or any issues with the functionality of the system?

If the 'sticker' on the system is not available/readable, you may open the system BIOS to retrieve the 'Service Tag' detail": how to obtain your service tag from the Dell bios
    - To access BIOS, restart the system and repeatedly tap 'F2' key to enter the 'System Setup'

It is also likely that the 'Service Tag' of the system is not recognized by 'Dell Website'. If yes, we may have to check if the tag is associated to the 'purchase order'. You may want to share the 'Service Tag' details through a private message (to ensure confidentiality of your personal information). That will allow us to investigate things further.

Do reply with the findings; would be glad to assist.
