Error code 28 on Ethernet controller (Missing Drivers)

    by the way vista, will the erecovery I got from acer.com work even if i already changed the preinstalled windows starter edition to windows 7 home premium? thanks

    The disc should have a folder inside called Drivers . The recovery discs will bring you to the day you bought the laptop

    i can't install anything, every time I try, a drive window will open that says program is too big to install or something, I don't know what to do...

    Put the download file from the USB flash drive to your desktop then try to install the driver.

    everything seems to be working now, I've downloaded the drivers from acer and it worked.. maybe I got the ones that are not compatible with the windows the first time.. thanks ^_^

    You should disable Ethernet Controller from Device Manager and then scan for hardware changes. Also try to download and install updated drivers.

    Just wanted to say thank you Vista King
    I had this problem and couldn't find a solution 'till I came across this Post
    the hardware detection tool did it for me
    again
