Problem when installing Win7(i think regarding SATA hdd)

Trying to reinstall Windows 7 and i am hitting a problem as soon as i click the install button

I get the "A required cd/dvd device driver is missing"(if you need the whole error message i will provide). After searching the internet trying to find fixes i couldn't fix my problem. So i ask you what can i do to reinstall Windows 7.

    I have a Acer Aspire 5741 g laptop
    hdd is a WDC WD5000BPKT-00PKT0

if you require more information i will provide

Most internet sources say that i need a driver for my hdd drive.I downloaded various SATA drivers(probably wrong ones).I can't seem to find the right one.Either that or what i am trying to do is wrong from the start and i must do something else

Please help me and i thank you in advance

What is the source of your installation disc. Why don't you try to reinstall from the Recovery partition. Press Alt+F10 during power-on.

Else you can get an alternate .iso from here. Burn that to a DVD and install with it. Then activate with the product key on the COA sticker which is on the bottom of your laptop.

I got a iso from a friend that also provided me with the cd key.It is from an univesity he's attending and gives free cd-keys to students.I dunno what you are talking about the alt+f10.tried pressing alt+f10 after i reset, during the windows temporary files loading, everywhere nothing pops up asking me if i want to install from the recovery.Downloaded the Windows 7 Home Premium is from the source you gave me,burned it and it did resolve my initial problem, but now i get the following error in the "Expanding windows files",the second stage of the instalation. It stops @ 0% and gives me this :"Windows cannot install the required files. The file may be corrupted or missing.Make sure all files required for installation are available and restart the installation.Error code:80070017"

    Dokkdurs

Try this link here USB Windows 7 Installation Key Drive - Create

IF you want to have just 1 partition without the 100MB System Reserved Partition

Where it asks where to install Windows 7 ( See image below )

    Press the keys

    Code:
    SHIFT and F10
You should then get this window . Do the commands that are in the image below

       Warning
Doing the CLEAN command will wipe all of the partitions on your hard drive including the Recovery partition that came with your laptop

Once you're done you should be back inside the " Where do you want to Install Windows ? " Window click on refresh and you should see just 1 partition labeled " Disk 0 Partition 1 " then click on next

Sorry for not posting this earlier but i solved my problem. And my solution was exactly what VistaKing suggested after reading on the internet and realized that the dvd burn process was flawed.I did a bootable usb drive and from here on everything went smooth.

TY whs and VistaKing very much for the fast answers and dedication. From my pov thread can be closed and tagged as solved.
