The answer to your question is yes except in vary rare circumstances. You should go to the Lenovo web site and see if they make updated drivers for your machine.

Most of them will work, but some may not, especially bluetooth, graphics card ones. I'm saying so cuz I have already suffered with these devices and Windows 8 a lot. In such a case, you can easily get an updated driver from the manufacturer's website specifically designed for Windows 8.
