Display Adapter - Can't Download

    That's on the side of the case . There should be a sticker on the front panel . Saying either nVidia or AMD its a square shape sticker .

    No, it just has the Intel Core Duo and the Windows 7 labels; nothing more.

    I saw an image you posted of the device manager . Can you right click on the device with this symbol choose properties . Once the window comes up click on the Details tab . In the Details tab click the drop down under Property and choose Hardware Ids and take a PrntScrn of that and upload it .

    Ok, the path was Device Mgr > Display Adapter > Video Control (which I right-clicked and chose the Details tab). I saw no triangular exclamation point.

    Do this for the Unknown device and under property choose hardware Ids in the Details tab

    The Service Tag for your OPTIPLEX 760 doesn't have a driver for the NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS

    Try this download


    Download





    1.Click Download , to download the file.
    2.When the File Download window appears, click Save (Windows XP
    users will click Save) this program to disk and click OK. The Save In:
    window appears.
    3.From the Save In: field, click the down arrow then click to
    select Desktop and click Save. The file will download to your desktop.
    4.If the Download Complete window appears, click Close. The file
    icon appears on your desktop.

    Install

    1.Double-click the new icon on the desktop labeled Intel_multi-device_A08_R296587.exe.
    2.The Self-Extracting window appears and prompts you to extract or
    unzip to C:\DELL\DRIVERS\R296587. Write down this path so the executable (I.e.
    Setup.exe) file can be found later.
    3.The Self-Extractor window appears.
    4.Click OK.
    5.After completing the file extraction, if the Self-Extractor
    window is still open, close it.
    6.Click the Start button and then click Run.
    7.Type C:\DELL\DRIVERS\R296587 in the Open textbox and then click OK.
    8.Follow the on-screen installation instructions.

    This is where I would always get the Error msg, as before. I unzipped the file, extracted it with the status bar filling quickly from left to right and then telling me that all files were successfully unzipped. When I click out of that box (telling me that they were successfully unzipped), immediately the error popup window appears:

    We might have to remote into your computer if you don't mind. Can you download TeamViewer.

    Click on Download . Once its done downloading during installation keep everything default and PM me the USER ID and PASSWORD. Don't worry we could uninstall this software after we are done.

    The graphic card is on the right hand side ( Its green with a clear fan on it ) What you're pointing to is your hard drives.
