Acer E1-571 Wireless Drivers - Wireless Not Working

    Hello

I have a slight problem at the moment, My brothers company have just purchased a new laptop and didnt realise that they were going to have problems running it with some of their job software as it was supplied with Windows 8 on.

They have purchased Windows 7 (so all the systems are the same) but since installing 7 the wireless card no longer works or is recognised.

I have had a look, It appears there are 3 variants of the Network adapter.
    Acer Nplify 802.11 b/g/n
    - Intel
    - Broadcom
    - Atheros

Acers website list the laptop as supporting Windows 7 and Windows 8 and have downloadable drivers on the site for 7 & 8 along with 32 and 64 bit versions.

Not being able to work out what card was installed (the Hardware vendor detection tool didnt pick any up) Iproceeded to test the drivers one at a time but cant get the laptop to recognise the card under Windows 7.

After doing a bit of reading I noticed someone had a similar issue that was rectified by installing the Woindows 8 Drivers,

I have tried this, 2 of them would install but one said it wasnt supported under Windows 7 but still no network card detected.

When it was purchased the laptop was able to access the internet using the Wireless card running pre installed Windows 8.

Could anyone help shed some light on a possible fix?

Thanks for reading this (and thanks in advance for any responses)

    :)
