Geforce GT 220 is compatible with DirectX 10 but installs DirectX 11??

So I'm having a burning question pop up. My Video card is an Nvidia Geforce GT 220, and it says that its only compatible with DirectX 10. My system, however, installs DirectX 11!

So do I downgrade my DirectX?

DirectX 11 comes with Windows 7 which is also backward compatible with DirectX 10

Ok but what about games that give me the option to use DirectX 11, like WoW?

I believe that is automatic . You may download GPU-z and it will tell you which directX is using

    Download

I would choose DirectX 11 personally but I am not a gamer so I have no idea on game info .

Finally found the answer I'm looking for:

"World of Warcraft currently doesn't use DirectX 11 mode to enable reflection, tessellation or anything like that. Its current purpose is to produce something that is visually similar or identical to what the original game engine can do. DirectX 11 mode does allow the game to use Shader Model 5, and drop down to SM4 if your card can only do that."
