My graphics driver consistantly crashes

    The model is Acer Aspire E1-571 as for the serial number, the link did not work but the SNID is: 23310017216

    Hum couldn't find the downloads for this one and the Google search came up with it having 8 on it?? but the Intel HD 4000 driver search came up with this https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Sea...cs+3000%2f2000

    If you're talking about Windows 8 then yes it did have Windows 8 but I downgraded it to Windows 7 when this problem appeared because after trying updates and uninstalling and re-installing I settled on trying it with windows 7.

    Some thing very strange here according to Acer for your Model Aspire E1-571 ... It has a NVIDIA card

    Yes go to the Link i gave you and download the Graphics Driver from there ... The Windows 8 Driver should work

    Good on you Max well done mate!! the thing had me foxed as I saw the 8 and then the Intel HD ref

    It all starts to make some sense now and yes OM I am running an upgrade to 8 right now and I am getting a tad tired of it now like the speed but the odd stuff that goes on is well odd!!

    Thanks ICit2lol .. This problem arises because we did not have the correct Information from the Op ... It was you actually put me on to the Op having Windows 8 .. I then checked the Acer website and seen it had the right specs for the Ops Laptop ... Hope this is sorted now
