I wouldn't try it. I recommend looking for the Windows 7 drivers on HP's site.

Hi there .... Having checked the HP website ... HP only supports Windows 8 for your Laptop ... Are you having any problems with Drivers ? I suggest if you are not having any issues .. You leave every thing as it is ..

Hi there ... If every thing is working fine .. Why would you even consider changing things ... Doing so could cause problems We sure don't want that ... If is not broke does not require fixing

Yeah, I wouldn't mess with it if it's not broken. I mean, you would have to go into Device Manager and then use Google (and us) to help you find the correct driver for things such as:

    • Display adapter
    • IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers
    • Keyboards
    • Mice and other pointing device (usually, laptops have special software for the keyboard and especially the touchpad)
    • Network adapters
    • Sound, video and game controllers
    • Universal Serial Bus controllers (maybe)
    • Any "Unknown" devices
    • The chipset, which isn't listed as just "chipset" in Device Manager

So if everything is working to your satisfaction right now, then it might not be worth the possible hassle that it might end up being. I mean, not only do you need to download the setup files, but you have to know where they downloaded to and then you have to run these setup files in order to install the drivers. Then you need to reboot after you're done installing all of them, except you will be bothered by each installer to reboot after each installation - but you don't have to do that until they're all done. Still, it sounds to me like everything is working to your satisfaction right now, so I don't know if it's worth it.

Besides, if you happen to have Windows Update set to automatically download and install updates without ever bothering you, then it might have already installed some halfway decent proper drivers for many of these devices.

Hi there ... As long as you are certain that your Graphics Driver is not working proper ... I would try the Windows 8 Driver

It's very likely the correct driver, but you can still make sure by downloading and installing the latest one from AMD's website:

That is a Beta driver, you can get a WHQL driver here,

We also have a sticky thread with updated driver info on it,
