trying to install app, get missing ODA_DLL.dll error message

as the title suggests, I was trying to install Able2Extract Pro 7 . I get an error message...

    System Error
The program can't start because ODA_DLL.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

I've uninstalled and re-installed a few times, still the same issue.

I googled ODA_DLL and found a few websites offering me a download button, but I don't trust them. A search on Microsoft.com gave me no answers...

I'm not the sharpest tool in the computer shack so any help is appreciated

Do you have windows 7 Service pack 1 Installed?

You can check by right clicking on computer in the start menu and clicking Properties and then under WINDOWS EDITION it will say service pack 1 if you have it installed

You may want to try installing the program in compatibility mode.

    To do so,
    1. right click on the setup file (.exe)
    2. click properties
    3. go to the compatibility tab
    4. check the "Run this program in compatibility mode for" box
    5. Slect from the drop down what operating system you would like it to use. ( I would start with windows 7 and then go back to XP Service Pack 3

Let me know if this helps.
