USB problem with some devices
Hi
I have an Asus Z87-DELUXE motherboard. For about a week a discovered an USB problem. Whan I plugged in my SanDisk Card Reader I couldn't read anything from it and in my computer it just loading. To get it stop loading I had to reset the computer. I solved the problem with "Button Application" for the SDDR-189 and SDDR-199 Readers/Writers". I guess I got the driver from this app. Everything was fine!
But now I ran into the same problem when I connected my Samsung Galaxy S2. I'm pretty sure it has worked one time before (the first time I connected the phone to my new computer). But now I can't get it to work. I've tried reinstall drivers, uninstall VMWare and disable Intel Virtualization Technology in BIOS (I thought the problem maybe began when I enabled this settings), uninstall Daemon Tools Lite.
I have also downloaded and installed USB drivers from Samsung and KIES. I can transfer files with MyPhoneExplorer and maybe KIES too (haven't tried). But Then I have to reset the computer because windows just trying to find the phone.
In safe mode it's working!
My USB harddrives and memories is working well.
In the windows log I found this (don't know if it has anything to do with the problem):
Service Control Manager - Timeout (30000 ms) ShellHWDetection - ID-7011
Service Control Manager - Timeout (30000 ms) LanmanServer - ID-7011
Service Control Manager - Timeout (30000 ms) wuauserv - ID-7011
Microsoft-Windows-WMI - ID-10
Event filter with query "SELECT * FROM __InstanceModificationEvent WITHIN 60 WHERE TargetInstance ISA "Win32_Processor" AND TargetInstance.LoadPercentage > 99" could not be reactivated in namespace "//./root/CIMV2" because of error 0x80041003. Events cannot be delivered through this filter until the problem is corrected.
