    Dell LatitudeD620 + D/Port= No AUDIO

    D620, Windows 7 x32

I am not getting any sound out of my speakers that are connected to the docking station. All the sound comes out through the built in speakers.

Can you right click on the little speaker icon in the bottom right hand corner of your screen and select "Playback Devices"? This will allow you to see what available speakers you have. If you see anything besides your main speakers, you can right click on your main speakers and disable them, forcing the audio over your docking station. This is assuming you don't have some kind of connection problem or missing driver.

    Hi Alex Babua,

    Welcome to Seven forums.

Correctly suggested by diplo. Make sure that the speakers connected are set to default for output.

If the issue still persists disconnect the dock and connect the speakers directly to the system and let us know the outcome.

Keep us posted with the results so we can advise you further.

The problem was in drivers. Sound card working with WIn XP, becouse "Dell" suppoted that OS.
But WIN 7 with old laptops not correct working and needed Vista drivers for sound card.

    Hi Alex Babua,

Please download the Vista driver from the link below:

    http://downloads.dell.com/FOLDER96129M/3/R171788.exe

And install it in a compatible mode and see if it resolves the issue we have on the system.
