    Genius button manager BM.exe

Hi mates, this is my first post in the forums, and i came here cause i have no clue with my issue, i had tried every fix i found in the net.

    Here's my problem:

I had a webcam genius Islim 321r, wich i use for head tracking, since a few month ago, i start to get the message, Button manager has stoping working. First i though it was my ****ed up windows, but a yesterday i
reinstalled windows (about time ) the Button manager worked just after the second restart, and then the problem started again.

I can't find a solution for it, the camera works perfectly but i just cant start the ir leds wich i need to work the head tracking system, this BM.exe works in this system for more than 3 years with no problems, but as i wrote above, since a few month this problem appears and i cant fix it yet.

    i would aprecciate any help

Hi potenz, Have you tried a newer version yet ? The version you are now using is quite old and may be corrupted which may lead to the crashes you are experiencing Have you tried the HP Button manager supplied on HP laptops with genius webcams ? it may work for you :)

Solved, the problem was skype, making the BM.exe to crash, i found other drivers in Genius, but the aplication doesn't start the ir leds, but searching for some windows 7 ir drivers in that site i found that some driver fix some issue with genius software and skype 5.7 and up, so as i barely use skype, **** you skype!!!, i rather my headtracking system!!! .

Thanks for all the help pebbly
