    Downloading Driver Updates from Toshiba

When I try downloading updates from Toshiba for my Satellite Pro C870-1E2 running Windows 7 Pro. it either ends up in "Programs and Features" or just vanishes.Anybody know how it is done?because Toshiba just passes the buck.

Hi there .. Where are your Downloads saved to .. Toshiba Setup Utility probably deals with all your Updates . If every thing seems to be in order You do not have much to worry about

How can they be installed when the original driver details are still there?.

Hi there .. Which Drivers are you trying to Update .. I could explain things a lot better if you would answer my questions . So please where are your Downloads saved to .. Manufactures don't often update for their Drivers .. So you are not likely to have many Updates ..

Bought this new computer 19/07/2013 and the updates were released after the manufacture. Some of the updates appear in programs and features and some others, after being unzipped, just disappear. The drivers I am trying to update are for the wireless Lan and display adapters.Been through the download procedure several times but when I check the relevent driver nothing has changed.Trust and hope I have given you all that is required for a diagnosis.
