switch my os win 7 home basic to ultimate
IF you did an "upgrade", Win7 should have retained all your drivers.

How did you do this "switch"?

OEM recovery disk sets tend to be unique, so I have no way of knowing what's on your set. But usually, they are designed to completely reinstall the OS, the drivers, and the bloatware that came with the PC.

If you don't have a separate Drivers disk in the set, about all you can do is insert the first disk in the CD/DVD drive, go to Device Manager, click the icon of the driver that is not installed -- and have it search the disk. You might get lucky and it will find the drivers needed on the disk.

If you don't have the separate driver disk Mark has mentioned and have no luck with any resource you have you'll have to to post your system specs for someone to help you locate the drivers you need.

How to see your system specs.

You could try installing the drivers manually through Device Manager, and select Browse during the process, then browse to your C:\Windows\System32\drivers folder (on your original partition). Presumably your original installation partition already has the correct drivers installed, so there is a chance that you can point to the drivers location on that partition when you perform the manual installation.

Further to this some brands of computers, e.g.: Dell, tend to create a folder on C drive where each of the drivers are extracted to, so you might get lucky and find a drivers folder on your original partition as well.

    Hi jatin 45,

Please let us know the model number of the system you have so we can advise you regarding the same.

If you have the driver files downloaded on a separate folder then you can check this link for updating the same:

    Driver Install - Device Manager

You can also identify devices and find drivers yourself by following this tutorial below:

    Hardware Identification

If you are still unable to update the drivers then kindly update your system specs here by following this.

Keep us posted with the results so we can advise you further.
