this thread is a bit old now, but anyone with a Belkin F5D7000 ver 6 (this may also work on ver.3 cards too)
wanting to get the Network Card working on Windows 7 x64 and x86 and also windows 8 cp
Go to the Microsoft Update Catalog Site, and get Driver ver 3.0.9.1 dated 2010
Search for Belkin Wireless G pci or Ralink wireless G pci - (you may have to install a small activeX control)
Microsoft Update Catalog
Ralink Technology Corp - Network - Belkin Wireless G PCI Adapter
Windows 7,Windows 8 Consumer Preview Drivers - 6/2/2010 - version 3.0.9.1
get the 3.0.9.1 drivers they com as seperate x64 or x86 packages
when you click on the site links, it give you Package Details - hardware id's
check if they match your netork card, these are the ones suitable for mine
pci\ven_1814&dev_0301&subsys_700e1799
pci\ven_1814&dev_0302&subsys_700e1799
note they come as .cab files so use WinRar or 7zip to unzip them to a folder, and install them as below
- Open 'Device Manager'
- look for your Network Card you want to update
- Right click and select 'Update Driver Software'
- Select 'Browse My Computer For Driver Software'
- then point it to the folder containing the drivers you need (the ones you extracted)
either x86 or x64 drivers, whichever windows architecture you have
job done, ive posted this info in a few places on the web, i had so much trouble some time back with the drivers from belkin and ralink, especially windows freezing up, but now these 3.0.9.1 drivers did the trick
goog luck
