    Windows Installer Problem


    Hello all,

    I'am new in here. I've some problem with Windows Installer. I can't install the USB 3.0 Driver (AsMedia) for my Asus laptop. When i went install the driver with the driver installation CD, i got some error. Here's the pic. Can you help me ?

    I'd check te MSI website for a more updated version of the driver and give that a try. It may be that you have to go and search ASMedia separately to get the exact latest driver as MSI may not carry it, I know ASUS didn't for my USB 3.0 header at mid board on my F2A85-V Pro.

    No, i'm install the driver from the driver CD ( ASUS K43SD )

    Hi Welson Welcome to Seven Forums ... Have you just Re-Installed Windows ?... Can you run Windows updates ?

    Thanks for reply.

    Yes. I just have re-Intsalled Windows 7. I had never update my Windows, because I don't have internet connection with this Laptop.

    I think, the problem is Windows Update. I'll install the Windows Update and install the Driver. :)
