My first thought was; you may have to wait until the drives cache re-learns your usage habits, and the last half of this post seems to back that up:

I would provide links for you if you could find anything on OCZ's forum. As I recall, it has a very small write cache but it does have one.

The guy who said to disable write cache said after disabling it you had to wait a minimum of 24 hours and restart in excess of 10 times before you start noticing the difference. I could never notice, maybe benchmarks could tell, but real world performance is quite often different than benchmark ratings - in my experience.

After checking on your HDD: 1TB Encrypted Laptop Drive, SED | Seagate, I couldn't help to think if the Self-Encrypting Drive (SED) technology has something to do with the freezing problem, but I haven't looked into it to know if it would or not.

Scroll down a bit: https://blogs.msdn.com/This is why you shouldn't turn off write cache buffer flushing

When you reinstalled, did you change the BIOS SATA controller setting from Intel Rapid Storage to AHCI? If so you've already cut IRST out of the equation so would not want to turn it back on without changing the BIOS setting, which might require a reinstall.

As suggested cutting out IRST during a reinstall in AHCI mode has so far proven to be more stable with better performance. We've even helped some adventurous users who insisted to install Win7 to the 32gb caching drive and they've gotten perhaps the best performance of all, though space limitations may only allow most-used programs onboard the SSD.

Is the thread Solved because if not you should change that setting at the top so others will continue helping.

If not look over the steps for getting and keeping a perfect Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 to compare with your reinstall, particularly how drivers are handled best in Win7.

Have you tested your hardware from the Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7, worked through the other steps to go over it best?

I'm coming late to the party, and haven't read the earlier parts of the thread - so forgive me if I'm repeating earlier requests.....

Please provide the data requested in the following posts....
Windows Genuine and Activation Issue Posting Instructions

While not strictly apropos in this situation, they will provide a lot of the data that we need to be able to isolate the problem.

@gregrocker
I did not change anything in the bios when I reinstalled. I don't know much about IRST. The thread is partially solved, because I am still experiencing freezes but they are much much less frequent. Still a bit annoying though so I will try as much as I can and do what you guys suggest me to solve this.

I compared my way of clean installing with the one you provided and I think I didn't mess anything up. I will look into it more thoroughly tomorrow as its getting late. Same for the troubleshooting steps for windows 7.

Alright. I've ran System Update Readiness Tool and it successfully installed an update. Took about an hour. I also ran the SFC Scan. Windows Update shows no errors. Here's the new CBS log.
I hope its good now.

The CheckSUR log is clear, at least
The SFC scan is also clear - but there are some points of concern in the background CBS log... and the system apparently did a lot of cleanup work in the process.

It may be a good idea to run the SFC /SCANNOW again, reboot and post the new CBS.log file (only), as it will be easier to sort the wheat from the chaff.

Here it is!
Just an update on the issue: the iaStor error with ID 9 seems to only occus on startup (when the desktop appears it freezes for a couple mins and the it loads the icons etc), when im playing a game (especially in the main menu) and it almost never happens when i'm working on the battery (though im not doing much else than web browsing and word).

This list appears to me to be a lot smaller than previous ones - but may not be complete because of the way the system works.

There are certainly no major problems in the log
