Windows 7 driver for HP Deskjet 712c printer...

Hp shows a Windows 7 driver for the HP Deskjet 710C printer.
Will this driver also work for the HP Deskjet 712c? Thanks for
    your reply.

    Welcome to Sevenforums, Gary
It has been said that some printer drivers will work on different versions of printers. Give it a try to see. You may have to just use one for your own model that is not for 7. To do this run it in compatibility mode. Good luck to you and Enjoy 7 and SF.

Not sure Gary. Is there at least a vista driver? You can install vista drivers in compatibility mode. If no vista try it.

Yes, HP shows a driver for Windows Vista for the 712c. So this
may be a work-around solution using Windows 7 Compatibility Mode.
I have been looking at the HP Pavillion p6000pc. I haven't purchased
it yet however so I am just trying to line things up before I purchase
a Windows 7 computer. Thanks for your help.

Gary. While searching for your driver info I also found this about a Windows 7 day for HP Products. Seems HP will be trying hard to hold up their end of the deal. I think that is a great move for HP
