    Windows 7 64bit DL

Hello, I have a desktop running Windows 7 upgraded to the Professional edition (I have key for the Professional upgrade)

I would like to do a fresh install of Windows 7 and then upgrade again to Professional.

BUT, the machine didn't come with a Windows 7 disk. Does anyone have a good line for a 64 bit download? or, can you please point me in the right direction.

I've been trying to figure this out all day! ahhhhhh.. Hope that made sense?

    Thanks soooo much.

    I see two diff versions:

    1. Windows 7 Professional N x64 RTM
    2. Windows 7 Professional N x64 SP1 U (media refresh)

Should i DL one vs the other?

SP1 is service pack 1 which would be the most current.

    Appreciate the link.

Looks like the link leads to an article that provides directions for a "Clean Install using a retail Upgrade Windows 7 installation disc."

    Sadly, I don't have a disk available...

You don't want the N version if you live in the US.

What is a Windows 7 N edition? - Microsoft Windows

You want the x17-59186.iso under English (USA)

After you DL the correct .iso, you need to burn an install DVD or make A USB Flash install
